How long do I have to complete the course?
We require that you complete the course within one year from the date of enrollment.
If you cannot complete the course within the one year requirement, please call us immediately. We will put a note in your file. In most cases we will extend the amount of time we allow to complete a course if the course is still approved/accepted by your state Board or sponsoring organization. If we don't hear from you late fees may be charged depending on the length of time you have had the course.

How long will it take to complete the course?
The continuing education hours that are designated to each program are an approximate idea of how long it will take you to complete the course. Keep in mind that for some people it may take longer to complete the course than the hours specified but for others it might take less time.
Why is there no course in my account?
It is likely that you did not use the same email address to create your online account as you used when you placed your order. If you used a different email address, you will not be able to access the online program.
Recreate a new account using the email address you provided upon enrolling in your course.

I created a new account because I forgot my password. Now there are no courses in my account, why?
You cannot create a second account with the same email address. When you created the new account, you used a different email address. Since the course enrollments are connected to your individual email address, when you created an account with a different one this connection was broken and the courses will not appear.
When I placed my order for the online programs on the Internet I created an account. Is this the same as the online course account?
When you placed your order online you created an online shopping account. This account is different from your online course account. In order to access and complete your online programs, you will need to create an online course account at www.HomeStudyWeb.com. Once you have created this online account, all future online programs can be conveniently accessed there.
Do your courses come with videos?
Some of our technique courses come with videos. All of the course materials that are included are listed with the course descriptions.
Upon completion of a course will you send the completion certificate to the organization I need the credits for?
We send the certificate straight to you. This way we avoid any confusion and you will have a master copy for your files. Also, state boards and sponsoring organizations that require continuing education credits typically require that you complete a form and you do not need to submit a certificate at the time of renewal. You will need to keep your certificate, as stated in your organizations' laws and rules, in the case of an audit.
How do you determine how long it takes to finish the course; who determines the credit hours for a course?
When we develop a course it is determined how long it will take, on average, for a student to read through the materials, watch the videos, as well as take the test. Pilot tests are also completed. It is then submitted to the different organizations for approval. Please keep in mind that it will take some students longer to finish a course and others will finish it in less time than indicated by the credit hours.

You have one year to complete the online course. After one year, your courses are removed from your account and you will need to contact us to so that we may update your account.

The test is multiple choice and "open book".
